Muir's Olympic Journey
Muir, a medal hopeful for Team GB, had a challenging path to the Olympics. Four years ago in Beijing, at just 17, she finished fifth in big air and eighth in slopestyle. But her story took a turn when an MRI scan revealed a fully torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in December 2023.
Overcoming Adversity
Muir's resilience shone through as she underwent surgery for her ACL and a long-standing shoulder issue in early 2024. Eleven months later, she was back on the snow, and her hard work paid off with a maiden World Cup gold in Tignes, March 2025.
Rising to the Top
This season, Muir added two more World Cup golds to her collection, along with slopestyle gold and big air silver at the exclusive X Games, just before the Olympics. Despite the setbacks, she remained focused, saying, 'I'm going to look forward to big air, but I just need to take this one in.'
